5 Rest Your Hands
Put aside any notions of “mudras” or “hand gestures”. These are supremely unhelpful in meditation. If you are sitting well then your hands are best placed either in your lap with one hand cupping the other, palms up, or on your knees with the palms down.
Positioning your hands goes (if you’ll pardon the pun) hand in hand with releasing your shoulders. The two go together so spend a little time experimenting to find out how this will work best for you. If it feels right, it is right.
